About George

George Ikonomou practises mainly in insolvency, including bankruptcies, restructurings, receiverships, foreclosures, creditors' remedies, and security realizations, and also assists housing co-operatives with governance, contracts, and related matters. Before joining Gehlen Dabbs Cash LLP, Ikonomou articled and practised at a national firm in Vancouver, then worked at an international firm in London, UK focusing on commercial litigation. Ikonomou holds an LL.B. from the University of Exeter (2018) and a BA from Simon Fraser University (2015), completed accreditation through the National Committee on Accreditation in 2020, and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2022.
