About Gayle

Gayle Myers is a barrister and solicitor at Wiebe Wittmann El-Khatib LLP, practising family law, professional governance and regulation, administrative law, immigration, employment law, and dispute resolution. Myers was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1983, holds an LL.B./J.D. from the University of British Columbia (1982) and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba (1973), and became a Certified Family Law Mediator in 1997 and a certified Professional Regulatory Investigator (CLEAR) in 2014. Myers began as a social worker specializing in child protection and adoption before transitioning to law, later serving as a staff lawyer at the Law Society of British Columbia in competency and professional conduct roles, and as Director of Academic Relations at Simon Fraser University overseeing policy and legal matters for faculty and administration.
