About Eric
Eric Aitken is a founding partner of DJA Counsel focused on commercial litigation, including contractual claims, shareholder disputes, fraud claims, professional negligence, and product liability. He also acts in administrative and regulatory matters, including proceedings before the Securities Commission, the Health Professions Review Board, and Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia in both domestic and international arbitrations. He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and before co-founding DJA Counsel he practised at an international law firm, spent six years at a commercial and securities litigation boutique, and began his career as a law clerk for six justices of the BC Supreme Court.
