About Gary

Gary E. Siskind is counsel at Owens Wright practicing in real property law. He acts for institutional lenders in preparing security for real estate loans, including development, commercial construction, and permanent financing, and handles purchases and sales of commercial and industrial properties such as shopping centres and apartment buildings, as well as work for developers, home builders, and condominium builders. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in 1965 and earned his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1968. After his call to the bar, he practiced at several Toronto firms, including Blaney McMurtry, before joining Owens Wright in April 2000. He has acted for institutional lenders on loans exceeding $500 million in a single year and for a developer on one of the largest condominium projects in Canadian history.
