About Fy
Fy Virani is a lawyer and partner at Virani Law, which he founded in 2015 after his own family lost their home to a fire and he helped negotiate a substantially increased insurance settlement for them. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminal Justice and Public Policy with a minor in Business from the University of Guelph and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law. Before founding Virani Law, he worked at a large Toronto law firm and a boutique firm in Victoria, British Columbia, gaining experience in personal injury, family, and criminal law, and conducted research on a constitutional issue in a criminal case that was later overturned at the Supreme Court of Canada. Virani Law has since helped families resolve insurance claims worth more than $100 million.
