About Brent

Brent Rentiers, based in Dolden's Kelowna office, defends liability claims brought against construction companies, professionals and commercial hosts, along with large property loss and employment claims. He acts for owners, developers, contractors, architects and engineers in disputes over building settlement, water damage and construction defects, and represents real estate agents, appraisers, financial planners and other professionals accused of negligence. His property-loss work includes advising insurers on suspected arson, fraudulent claims and cannabis exclusions, while his liquor liability files involve restaurants, bars and nightclubs. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2008 and the British Columbia bar in 2011, and holds a law degree and a commerce degree from UBC.
