Administrative & Regulatory LawFrances practices Aboriginal law, assisting Indigenous nations with environmental, social, cultural and economic goals. She advocates for and collaborates with First Nations in treaty negotiation and implementation, acts as legal counsel during Crown consultation, and drafts legislation for treaty and non-treaty First Nations. She has a particular interest in Indigenous natural resource management and environmental conservation. Before joining Ratcliff, she completed part of her articles with the Environmental Law Centre at the University of Victoria and co-op terms with the provincial Environmental Assessment Office and Wildlife and Habitat Branch. She earned her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2020 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2021.
