About Felipe

Felipe Paredes-Canevari completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 after an honours bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in Classical, Medieval and Renaissance Studies in 2008, and a master's in medieval history and literature at the University of Toronto in 2009. He articled at an international law firm in Calgary and was called to the Alberta bar in 2013, practising primarily in commercial and construction litigation, criminal defence and private international law. Outside law he performs, records and tours as a musician, has released two albums of traditional South American music, and volunteers with the Calgary Peruvian Community Association and the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council mentorship program.
