About Farzana

Farzana Jiwani has practiced family and divorce law exclusively since 2008. She is a fully trained Collaborative Law lawyer and belongs to Collaborative Practice Toronto and the York Collaborative Practice Group, and is a member of the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. She also sits as an appointed board member of Ontario's Aga Khan Conciliation and Arbitration Board, helping parties reach resolutions to their disputes, and has completed extensive mediation training. Farzana has represented clients internationally on complex financial, interjurisdictional, and mobility matters, and has litigated Maher agreements with knowledge of Sharia law. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto in addition to her law degree, and focuses on providing clients with practical, compassionate, resolution-oriented guidance.
