Michael Tweyman is a founding partner who has practiced exclusively in family law since 2006, after articling in a large company's corporate head office. He has substantial trial experience and has succeeded at every level of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal, often in cases where family law intersects with corporate, estates or bankruptcy issues. As a panel lawyer with the Office of the Children's Lawyer, he has represented children in custody, access and child protection cases. Michael is an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he co-teaches Managing Family Law Cases and co-coaches the family law moot team, which won the Walsh Family Moot in both 2018 and 2019. He has also served on an ad hoc committee working to improve family law forms.
