About Farzan
Farzan Fallahpour is a Canadian barrister and solicitor licensed in both Ontario and British Columbia, and a recognized Notary Public in British Columbia. She holds a Master's degree in International Law from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran and an LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, a background that lets her bridge Iranian legal knowledge with Canadian legal practice for clients from Iran and other civil law jurisdictions. Before becoming a lawyer, Farzan worked for over three years as a licensed immigration consultant specializing in refugee protection, temporary residence, humanitarian and compassionate applications, and judicial reviews, and she completed her articling term at the Law Society of Ontario. She also completed a Certificate in Intellectual Property from Osgoode Hall Law School and professional courses through the World Intellectual Property Organization, and her practice includes trademark registration, copyright law, and entertainment law. Farzan provides legal aid representation for refugee claimants in British Columbia in partnership with Legal Aid BC and volunteers as a mentor for internationally trained lawyers seeking to become licensed in Canada.
