About Farouk

Farouk Jiwa founded Jiwa Law Corporation and has practised personal injury litigation for nearly two decades, handling cases arising from motor vehicle, bicycle, pedestrian, and motorcycle accidents, as well as burn injuries and product liability claims. He resolves matters through negotiation, mediation, and trial for clients across a range of professions, and has obtained numerous published court decisions. He has appeared as a guest speaker on radio programs discussing transit injuries and animal liability law, and has presented at Trial Lawyers Association seminars on personal injury topics. He earned his J.D. with Honours from Seattle University School of Law in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia in 2001, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2006 and Washington State in 2005. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Washington State Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
