About Shelly

Shelly Butler articled and worked as an associate at a boutique family law firm before joining Jiwa Law Corporation. She has represented clients at the Supreme Court and Provincial Court levels, negotiated settlements, and drafted marriage and separation agreements. She was a summer intern at West Coast LEAF and has volunteered with Access Pro Bono on mental health advocacy, civil chambers, and a wills clinic. She holds a law degree, a Bachelor of Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy, all connected to the University of British Columbia (the B.A. jointly with Concordia University).
