About Faraz

Faraz Kourangi works as a lawyer and workplace investigator at Williams HR Law LLP, where he practices employment, labour, and human rights law on the management side. He takes a proactive and holistic approach, advising employers on everything from employment contracts and policies to dismissals, accommodation, discipline, occupational health and safety, and privacy. His clients span industries including construction, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, communications, and healthcare, and he's represented them in court, mediation, and before bodies such as the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. He's also written on employment and human rights topics, including a paper on accommodating test-takers that was featured at a Law Society of Ontario human rights summit. Faraz holds a J.D. from Queen's University and graduated summa cum laude with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Social and Political Thought from York University.
