About Cooper

Cooper Smither is a lawyer and workplace investigator at Williams HR Law, practising across labour, employment, and human rights law. He advises and represents employers on employment agreements, discipline and termination, human rights and accommodation, disability management, grievance arbitration, collective bargaining, and labour board proceedings, and also conducts third-party workplace investigations and culture reviews for organizations across sectors including education, financial services, and municipal government. Cooper is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received the Charles Edward Woodrow Award, and volunteered with the Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion. He holds an Honours BA in Sociology from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he was named Outstanding Graduating Sociology Student.
