About Laura

Laura Williams is the founder and managing partner of Williams HR Law LLP and also serves as President and CEO of Williams HR Consulting Inc. She's spent more than twenty years advising organizations on labour, employment and human rights issues, and she's often called on to conduct workplace investigations, including matters involving equity, diversity, inclusion and systemic discrimination. Laura focuses on giving clients proactive guidance that reduces legal risk while supporting employee engagement. She holds the Certified Professional Speakers designation from the National Speakers' Association and regularly chairs, teaches and keynotes at legal, association and business conferences, along with delivering customized in-house training. She sits on several boards, including chairing the 360Kids Board of Directors, and has advised the University of Western Ontario's Equity Council. Laura earned her LLB from the University of Windsor and her BA from Western University.
