About Farah

Farah Rousseau graduated from the Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2010. She began her career in criminal and penal law, and over her first eight years of practice added civil litigation, particularly family law and real estate law, to her focus. She taught legal-technique courses at the Institut Teccart from 2015 to 2018, and has been a professor at the Barreau's professional school since February 2024. She has also volunteered for several years with the Centre des femmes de Montréal, worked with women fleeing domestic violence in shelter resources, and taken part in public legal-education activities for Quebecers. Since 2018 she has focused on labour law, defending employees before the Tribunal administratif du travail while working in the legal-affairs division of the CNESST's labour standards branch. She joined RBD Avocats in June 2023.
