About Erin

Erin McMurray is an associate at Falconers LLP focusing on litigation with an emphasis on state accountability, the treatment of marginalized individuals within the legal system, and Indigenous self-governance. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2023 and holds an Honours BA in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph. Before her call to the bar in 2024, she worked as a judicial law clerk at the Superior Court of Justice in Brampton and Milton, assisting with research and writing. During her studies she wrote on Canada's colonial legal system and the systemic exclusion of marginalized groups from legal protection. She joined the firm as an associate in 2024, aiming to support access to justice alongside her advocacy work.
