Erica Richler is Co-Managing Partner at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, where she advises professional regulatory bodies across the health, education, and business sectors. She acts as general counsel, prosecutes discipline cases, and advises hearing and appeal committees, and she also trains boards and staff of regulators on their obligations. Erica co-authored a guide to the Regulated Health Professions Act and contributed a chapter on prosecuting professional regulation cases. She teaches Professional Responsibility as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and previously chaired the Prosecutors' Network of the Advocates' Society. Erica holds a BA from McGill University and graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario's law program, where she was valedictorian of her class. After law school, she clerked for the Court of Appeal for Ontario and later served as a senior policy advisor to Ontario's Attorney General, Chris Bentley.
