About Alexandra

Sandra is counsel at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, where her work spans the full range of professional regulation. She represents regulators in discipline and other regulatory hearings, advises them on policy questions, and trains statutory committees. Before joining the firm, she was Senior Litigation Counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission, where she investigated and prosecuted breaches of securities law, appeared in public interest litigation before the courts and the Capital Markets Tribunal, and advised the Commission's operational branches on strategy and risk. She also summered and articled there. Earlier still, she was a litigation associate at a full-service firm, focusing on professional negligence and liability claims. Sandra earned her law degree at Osgoode Hall, where she completed an intensive program in anti-discrimination law, and she has guest lectured at the University of Toronto's law school.
