About Emily
Emily Wang is an associate in Osler's Tax group, where her work spans tax controversy and planning, including complex appeals and questions of international and resource taxation. She has appeared in proceedings up to the Supreme Court of Canada and has assisted on files before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Before joining the group, Emily clerked for Justice Kasirer at the Supreme Court of Canada and for judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and she maintains an active pro bono practice touching on constitutional, criminal, and public law matters. She graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2019, completing articles at the firm across several groups, and was named to the Pro Bono Ontario honour roll for 2023.
