About Emily
Emily MacArthur is a partner at Nixon Wenger LLP with a general solicitor's practice focused on commercial and corporate law, particularly commercial leasing, and she also advises on real estate transactions and business structuring. She assists individuals and families with estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, as well as estate administration and applications for grants of probate. MacArthur earned a B.F.A. with a minor in French from the University of Victoria in 2009 and a B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University in 2014, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2016. She serves as treasurer of the Vernon Bar Association and has been a board member of the New Vintage Theatre Society, HomeZero Collective, and Caravan Farm Theatre Society.
