About Thomas

Thomas Evangelista is a junior partner whose criminal defence practice covers a wide range of matters, with particular emphasis on complex financial crime, serious violence, drug and firearm offences, sexual offences, and driving-related charges, whether privately retained or legally aided. He trained at a small criminal defence firm in Toronto, then gained further experience handling bail and preliminary hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials. Thomas regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. He earned his Honours B.A. in Political Science and Public Law from Brock University with First Class Standing, and his law degree with Honours from City, University of London. He belongs to the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the York Region Law Association, and the Law Society of Ontario.
