About Ella
Ella Benedetti is an associate at McCarthy Hansen & Company, where she summered and articled before her call to the Ontario bar in the summer of 2024. She holds a J.D. from Queen's Law, where she worked as a researcher for Professor Nicholas Bala, competed on the Walsh Family Law Moot team, and served as a caseworker in both the Family Law and Elder Law clinics. Before law school, Ella earned a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Master of Arts in Criminology and Social Legal Studies from the University of Toronto, focusing on parental rights and state intervention. She has co-authored an article on litigation abuse in family law matters. Ella practises family law and is committed to guiding clients through emotionally and legally complex situations with clear, supportive representation.
