About Élise

Élise Vaillancourt is an Associate in Cox & Palmer's Fredericton office, building a litigation practice. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2024 and completed her articles at the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick under the Chief Justice, before being called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2026. Vaillancourt holds a joint Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University's Faculty of Law (2024) and a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University (2020), and before law school worked in crisis intervention at a domestic violence shelter. She is bilingual and advises clients in both English and French, and during law school volunteered at the Mobile Legal Clinic assisting individuals experiencing homelessness.
