About Efua
Efua Cobbina is a founding partner of DKGC LLP who brings a strong business background to her family law practice. She earned her degrees in common and civil law from McGill University's Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2009, after articling with a well-known Canadian law firm. She then practised family law exclusively at two boutique firms from 2009 to 2019 before launching her own practice in the spring of 2019 and becoming a founding partner of DKGC. Before law, Efua completed Concordia University's John Molson School of Business Co-op program with a major in finance, graduating with distinction, and worked as a financial analyst, an investment accountant, and a legal analyst for a multinational insurance broker. She often appears before the Superior Court of Justice as well as the Ontario Court of Justice, though she remains settlement-minded and focused on cost-effective outcomes for her clients.
