About Alexandrea
Alexandrea Grant is a partner at DKGC LLP in Toronto who practises family law exclusively. She was called to the bar in 2008, having articled at a boutique litigation firm on Bay Street, and then worked at a Peel Region family law firm from 2009 to 2014 and at a Toronto firm from 2015 to 2019. Her practice spans marriage contracts, parenting plans, and separation agreements, and she works to negotiate settlements that serve her clients' children's interests. She appears often before the Superior Court of Justice, as well as the Ontario Court of Justice, acting as lead trial counsel in both. Though she will litigate when needed, she is active in alternative dispute resolution and handles most files through negotiated settlement or mediation. She earned her J.D. from Bond University's Faculty of Law and a B.A. in political science and history from the University of Western Ontario's Huron College.
