About Lisa

Lisa Katz has practised family law exclusively since 2008, appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice at conferences, motions, and trials, and has successfully argued an appeal at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She frequently represents clients in mediation and arbitration and has extensive experience negotiating and drafting cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and separation agreements. Before founding her own practice, Lisa worked at family law firms in midtown Toronto and in Peel Region, and served as legal counsel to the Children's Aid Society of Toronto. She earned her LLB from Queen's University in 2006 and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario's Huron College, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2007.
