About Dustin

Dustin Patzer is a family lawyer who has spent more than a decade helping clients navigate separation, parenting disputes, child and spousal support, and property issues. He was called to the bar in Alberta in 2014 and in Nova Scotia in 2026, and has appeared before courts at every level in Alberta. Originally from southern Alberta, Dustin relocated to Nova Scotia to raise his son and build his family law practice on the South Shore. He favours negotiated resolutions where possible but is also an experienced courtroom advocate when settlement isn't possible.
