About Andrew

Andrew Fraser is the founder and managing lawyer of Bluenose Law, and has practised law for more than 15 years. His practice focuses primarily on criminal defence and civil litigation, and he regularly appears before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court and Supreme Court, as well as handling construction litigation, wrongful dismissal, and commercial and property disputes. Born and raised in Lunenburg County, Andrew returned to Nova Scotia after practising with large firms and serving as corporate counsel for a publicly traded company in Edmonton and Vancouver. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, and was called to the bar in Alberta in 2011, British Columbia in 2014, Saskatchewan in 2016, and Nova Scotia in 2023. He provides legal services in English and French and has a working knowledge of Mandarin.
