About Rachel

Rachel Lutz practises primarily in civil litigation, family law, and criminal defence. Raised in Wolfville, she returned to Nova Scotia in 2020 after living in Newfoundland and Ontario, having previously worked with newcomers, youth, and underserved communities through organizations including L'Arche, the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia, and Wagmatcook First Nation. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Bachelor of Education and Juris Doctor from Queen's University, and a Master of Education from Memorial University. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2025, and her background in education shapes her approach to explaining legal issues clearly to clients.
