Douglas N. Bolen is an Associate at Kanuka Thuringer LLP in Regina, with a general practice focused on advising corporate, commercial, and business clients and handling residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also supports the firm's Corporate Commercial team on larger partner-led projects. Born and raised in Regina, Bolen returned to the firm after many years practising law in British Columbia, and for more than 25 years has advised clients from pre-incorporation start-ups to large, established public and private entities on business and regulatory matters, contract negotiation and drafting, regulatory compliance, acquisitions, dispositions, labour and employment matters, and financings across sectors including oil and gas, gaming and casinos, technology, manufacturing, and private lending. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina (1991) and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan (1995), and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1996 and the British Columbia Bar in 2011.
