About Sharon

Sharon A. Martin is a senior partner at Martin Dupont LLP who has practised law since 1978, focusing on residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, family law, mediation and collaborative law, and business law for small enterprises. She has practised mediation and collaborative law since 1987, when training in the area was first offered locally, and favours a negotiated-settlement approach in both family law and civil matters such as business disputes. Martin has maintained real estate client relationships spanning more than 30 years, ranging from first-time home buyers to large construction companies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Economics and History from the University of Saskatchewan (1974) and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law (1977), and was admitted to the bar in 1978. She has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President of the Regina Branch of the CBA Real Property and Wills Section and is a member of Collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan.
