About Devin

Devin Maxwell is a litigation lawyer at CDR Law whose practice includes personal injury, insurance disputes, judicial and administrative review, commercial disputes, Aboriginal and human rights law, and institutional abuse claims, including cases involving survivors of abuse in youth facilities, religious institutions and government settings. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Dalhousie University in 1998 and an LL.B. from Dalhousie in 2001, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2002. He articled at a major Nova Scotia firm and practised there for six years before moving to a smaller firm and later joining Conrad Dillon Robinson. He has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and the Federal Court of Canada, and has served on the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Race Relations Committee and the executive of CBA Nova Scotia.
