Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionSuneal Khemraj is a litigator in Dolden's Toronto office practising commercial, civil, and insurance litigation. He joined the firm in 2017 after articling and practising with an international insurance defence firm in Toronto, and he has appeared on matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court. Suneal has particular expertise in occupiers' and hospitality liability, product liability, municipal liability, professional negligence, and disputed coverage claims, and he has defended manufacturers, suppliers, municipalities, and liquor establishments in a range of matters. His medical malpractice work includes defending naturopaths, podiatrists, and physiotherapy clinics, and he has advised domestic and London market insurers on coverage under E&O, D&O, and CGL policies. Suneal earned an honours BA in Criminology and International Development Studies from York University in 2011 and holds joint JDs from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, during which he volunteered at Community Legal Aid and served as an editor of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.
