About Desiree

Desiree Ryziuk practices business law, employment law, and real estate law in Edmonton, covering commercial leasing, lending and financing, sales and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, employment agreements and policy manuals, wrongful and constructive dismissal, human rights claims, and disability accommodation issues, along with commercial and residential real estate transactions. Ryziuk joined Ogilvie LLP as a student-at-law in 2010 and became a partner in 2019, and now also leads the firm's student recruitment and development. Ryziuk earned a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in History, both from the University of Alberta in 2010, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada. Ryziuk is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Business Law Subsection.
