About Derek
Derek Tochor is an associate and civil litigator practising insurance defence, with a focus on property damage, personal injury, and construction claims. He has appeared before the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia and the Court of Queen's Bench of Saskatchewan, as well as various tribunals. Tochor earned a B.A. from McGill University (2014) and a J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan (2018), and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2019 and the British Columbia bar in 2020. He has appeared in several reported decisions before the BC Supreme Court and the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal.
