About Deep

Deep Singh Kahlon is an associate at Newman & Company practising criminal defence. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 2015, making the Dean's Honour List, before earning his law degree from Robson Hall in 2020. As a student, Deep worked at the University of Manitoba Community Law Centre as a Student Supervisor, gaining courtroom experience. He completed his articles at Brodsky Amy & Gould and moved his practice to Newman & Company after being called to the bar in 2021. Deep is fluent in Punjabi and has conducted courtroom hearings in the language.
