About Alex
Alex Arsenault is a lawyer at Hall & Larocque's Vancouver-area office who supports Indigenous governments and communities across Canada on First Nation governance, Aboriginal title and rights, consultation, oral history, UNDRIP implementation, and band membership. He began his legal career handling Aboriginal title and rights litigation before moving toward developing governance solutions, and says the best solutions come from community knowledge and meaningful engagement. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2018 and is a director of the HIM Clinic.
