About Debbie

Debbie Bellinger is a partner at Nelligan Law and leads its Real Estate and Development and Business Law groups. She joined the firm as a title searcher and law clerk after her first year of law school and has remained there ever since, building over thirty years of experience in land development and mixed-use developments. Her real estate work spans land acquisition, contracting, financing, development, and sale, and she has acted for hundreds of condominium corporations on issues such as building deficiencies, reserve funds, and Tarion coverage. She also supports the firm's municipal law lawyers on Planning Act appeals and Tarion warranty decisions, and has appeared as an expert witness before the Ontario Superior Court on real estate matters. She has worked on construction documents for large projects across Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area.
