About David
David Festeryga is a partner at Sullivan Festeryga who joined the firm as an articling student in 1992 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994. His practice covers all aspects of insurance defence, from complex motor vehicle actions to large property losses, product liability, professional negligence, occupiers' liability and coverage disputes, and he has appeared at all levels of court across Ontario. He has been a member of Canadian Defence Lawyers since its founding, joined its board in 2010, and served as its president for the 2016-17 term; he now chairs its Public Policy Secretariat. David has spoken at continuing education events for the Hamilton Law Association and the Canadian Society of Medical Examiners, and has taken part in consultations on civil justice reform in Ontario. He holds an LLB from the University of Windsor and a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario.
