About David
David R. Ames has practised law in southwestern New Brunswick for over 44 years, concentrating on commercial and residential real estate, wills and estates, and corporate matters. A native of St. Stephen, he returned to his hometown after being admitted to the Law Society of New Brunswick in 1981, following a law degree and B.A. from the University of New Brunswick. Ames is a past president of the Law Society of New Brunswick and has held roles with the Saint John Regional Airport, the Charlotte County Community Living Association, and the Fundy Community Foundation. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2008 and has appeared before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, the Court of King's Bench, and various federal and provincial appeal boards.
