About David

David A. Bartlett grew up in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, and earned degrees in business administration and economics from the University of New Brunswick before graduating from UNB Law School in 1983. He articled under G. Fred Nicholson, K.C., G. Melvin Turner, K.C., and David C. Walker, and was admitted to the New Brunswick bar in March 1984, practising in Charlotte County for over 40 years. Bartlett served on the Law Society of New Brunswick's Law Council representing Charlotte County over several terms and sat on the Property Law Advisory Committee during the update of the Real Property Standards under Land Titles. He was active for many years in the Charlotte County Barristers' Society, serving as President, and lobbied against the 2015 closure of the Provincial Court in St. Stephen. Bartlett was appointed King's Counsel in November 2021 and joined Lutz Parish Gerrish on July 1, 2024.
