About Jonathan

Jonathan Martin runs a general practice law firm in Florenceville-Bristol, serving Carleton and Victoria counties in both French and English. Martin's practice covers family law, real estate, civil litigation, wills and estates, and constitutional law. Martin studied law at the Université de Sherbrooke, earning an LL.B and a J.D., and was a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan from 2015 to 2022 before joining the Law Society of New Brunswick in September 2020. Martin spent two years focused primarily on family law, followed by three years in the civil litigation department of a large national firm, where Martin also edited the firm's construction law newsletter. Martin has appeared in courts in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, has been involved in matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, and has appeared twice as co-counsel before that court. Martin regularly appears before the Court of King's Bench in Woodstock and has published articles on construction litigation, family law, and constitutional law.
