About David

David Postel is an associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP, handling contract, employment, estate and tort litigation. He has appeared in arbitrations, before the Superior Court on Commercial List matters, and in appeals to the Court of Appeal for Ontario. His recent files have centred on defamation and anti-SLAPP proceedings, business and partnership disputes, and professional responsibility matters. He volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario, judges student moot competitions, and was named to the Best Lawyers 'Ones to Watch' list for 2025. Before joining HHR in May 2019 he practised at Latham & Watkins' Chicago office on complex commercial litigation and class actions. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2016 and holds a political science degree from DePaul University. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and admitted to the Illinois bar in 2016.
