About Albert

Albert H. Oosterhoff serves as Firm Counsel at WEL Partners and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Western University's Faculty of Law, where he taught wills, trusts, and property law. He also taught at the University of Windsor and worked for years as an Adjunct Professor of Trusts at the University of Toronto, and previously served as Associate and Acting Dean at Western. He has practiced law privately and written extensively on wills, estates, trusts, and property matters, including two well-known texts now available in later editions. He spent years as an editor for several major law report series, including the Dominion Law Reports and the Ontario Reports, and later led the Estates, Trusts and Pension Journal as Editor in Chief. At WEL Partners, he consults on matters in his areas of expertise, providing opinions on wills, estates, trusts, and related property issues.
