About Thomas
A partner in the firm's Toronto office and member of the Financial Institutions & Services Group, Thomas Gertner focuses on commercial matters with emphasis on insolvency law. He advises on complex restructurings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, as well as informal workouts, and maintains a practice advising lenders on developing and implementing retail credit programs in Canada. He is a graduate of the joint JD/MBA program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business.
