About Glenn
Glenn ZoBell is a tax associate at Linmac LLP, advising clients on corporate and personal tax planning, compliance, and corporate structuring, with particular focus on corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer. His work with high-net-worth individuals and privately held corporate groups also covers business sales, terminal tax planning, structuring corporate groups for tax and operational efficiency, and disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency arising from audits and reassessments. He co-authored "Reliance on Advisors: Due Diligence or Negligence?" in Canadian Tax Focus (Volume 13, No. 2, May 2023). He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary (2020) and a Bachelor of Management with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge (2017), was called to the Alberta bar in 2021, and is completing the CPA In-Depth Tax Course. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
