About David
David Carrier joined Jay Meunier's practice in 2015, articled there in 2017, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018 before co-founding Meunier Carrier Lawyers in 2020. He practices in personal injury litigation, insurance and disability disputes, employment law, commercial litigation, family law, child protection, and wills and estates, and also assists with municipal legal matters. He appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, and various tribunals, and since 2023 has served as a panel lawyer with the Office of the Children's Lawyer. He earned a J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and a B.A. (Hons.) in Law and Justice from Laurentian University in 2014, where he received the Emond Harnden LLP Prize for Labour Law. He's fluent in English and French and practices in both official languages.
