About Darya
Darya Maltseva is an associate in the Commercial Real Estate and Development Group at Robins Appleby, called to the Ontario bar in 2025. She is building a broad commercial real estate practice, advising clients on acquisitions, dispositions, development and financing, and works with both experienced and first-time developers. Before becoming an associate, Darya was a summer and articling student at the firm with a particular focus on commercial real estate and development. She holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. from Oakland University. A former Division 1 tennis athlete, she credits her competitive background for the work ethic she brings to her practice, and during law school she completed a student-proposed internship with a family lawyer that deepened her client-focused approach.
